Situated along the winding mountain highway connecting Bedugul to Singaraja, Gitgit Waterfall is one of Bali’s original and most famous natural landmarks. The 15-minute walk from the main road passes through local spice gardens, traditional wooden houses, and artisan stalls selling local vanilla and coffee. The trail opens up to a dramatic 35-meter waterfall spilling over dark volcanic rocks into a wide, clear stream surrounded by towering jungle canopy.
