Spanning over 600 hectares, the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces present one of Southeast Asia's most breathtaking agricultural landscapes. Unlike urbanized regions, Jatiluwih preserves the thousand-year-old Subak system—a cooperative water arrangement built on the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana (harmony between humans, nature, and God). Visitors can hike, cycle, or walk along designated paths winding through multi-tiered emerald fields framed by Mount Batukaru, offering an authentic look into island heritage far from tourist crowds.
