Founded in 962 AD, Tirta Empul is a national cultural heritage site known for its natural freshwater springs. Guests are invited to observe or participate in Melukat—a traditional cleansing ritual where worshippers bathe under 30 spouts to purify body and mind. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and historic shrines, Tirta Empul provides a spiritual connection to Bali’s living heritage.
